Studies show that the average cost of IT downtime ranges from $5,600 per minute for small businesses to over $540,000 per hour for large enterprises. These numbers tell a sobering story about how dependent we’ve become on technology to keep our operations running smoothly. Having reliable IT Services and Support isn’t just a luxury anymore – it’s a necessity for survival.A single server failure can bring down email systems, customer databases, and critical applications that employees rely on every day. Without proper IT support in place, these problems can drag on for hours or even days while internal teams scramble to find solutions. The best providers don’t just fix problems after they occur – they work proactively to identify potential issues before they cause system failures. This preventive approach saves businesses tremendous amounts of money and stress by addressing problems during convenient maintenance windows rather than during critical business operations. Professional IT support teams use sophisticated monitoring tools that keep watch over your systems around the clock.Technology problems don’t respect normal business hours, and neither should your IT support. Servers can fail at 2 AM, cyber attacks often happen on weekends, and critical software updates sometimes require immediate attention regardless of the time.

Medicaid is critical for therapies, adaptive equipment, and medical support that allows many students to thrive.
As a recently retired teacher with over 30 years in the classroom, I’ve dedicated my life to advocating for children’s well-being. That’s why I’m deeply concerned by Rep. Pete Stauber’s voting record, which consistently fails to support children and families in our district.Perhaps most alarming, Stauber has backed budgets that would slash Medicaid, jeopardizing care for children with disabilities. Medicaid is critical for therapies, adaptive equipment, and medical support that allows many students to thrive. For example, Stauber supported an amendment to a bill that included cutting $6 million from Head Start, a program vital to early learning for low-income children. He also voted against the Build Back Better Act, which would have expanded the child tax credit and invested in early education, offering relief many Minnesota families need. For someone who claims to support families, Stauber’s votes tell a different story, one that consistently sidelines children’s health, education, and future.

I read on the community channel to try reinstalling the SupportAssist. I uninstalled SupportAssist and reinstalled. It loaded after another restart. Now, I have a list of Software updates that say 'failed' but there are no names of what those updates were, nor any way listed to restart those failed updates.I had run the SupportAssist all thru 2024, updating whatever the program told me to, so I believe the log containing the SupportAssist updates is gone. I did log into the Dell website, entered my service tag and eventually found a list of installed, suggested and critical updates. So knowing that there were only five or six that didn't get updated this time, I went ahead and started with the the 4th to last which was labeled critical and dated April 2025. The update worked. Now the hardware scan doesn't fail any longer.NOTE: I normally suggest that users download a fresh copy of the latest SupportAssistInstaller.exe installer from https://downloads.dell.com/serviceability/catalog/SupportAssistInstaller.exe and save it to their Windows desktop, , right-click that .EXE file, and choose "Run as Administrator" as part of their clean reinstall. I did log into the Dell website, entered my service tag and eventually found a list of installed, suggested and critical updates.... The update worked. Now the hardware scan doesn't fail any longer. If SupportAssist has been running correctly on your computer since it was reinstalled I don't think you have to worry if updates have failed in the past.
